Hello everyone i have a 2008 e320 bluetec Anyone ever deal with these codes? I have generic turbo underboost code along with p0428 catalyst temp sensor bank 1 sensor 1. Also have 2 more specific codes below. What is the boost control throttle valve? Isnt that part of the intake elbow?

Confirm that you check all intercooler hoses for leaks. That would show as oil stain around.
The scanner shows 4 codes in memory, when you show 2 ?
One intercooler wasnt snapped in all the way, the charge pipe to silencer was loose and the o ring was broken. I corrected all that all that i have zero boost . I only posted the 2 more specific codes, i also have p0299 turbo underboost and p0428 catalyst temp sensor. But what i really really want to know here is about the code 2940-001 BOOST CONTROL VIA THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED MAJOR. I mean is that part of the turbo? Or is that part of the intake elbow where a throttle valve actuator exists?
I would fix the temp sensor to start with.
On modern cars all programs are interlocked, so chances are that with bad temp reading, the computer kills the boost.
Then clear all codes, confirm that they are cleared (I had iCarsoft lie to me) and try again.
I replaced the sensor underneath the turbo with no avail. The next temp sensor in the large cat was replaced maybe 10,000 miles ago with a part from the dealer so i dont think its that one.
Pinpointing what the code means is a skill, but from what code says, I think you have only 1 sensor under the code and that would be the 1 you replaced 10k miles ago.
Confirmation would be unplugging it and recheck the code.
