Window Creaking?
I have a 6 week old e550 and the drivers windows creaks whenever driving over uneven surfaces. This just started in the past week or so. Does not seem to happen on the passenger side, or at least I can't hear it.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I just used liquid wrench spray silicone lubricant that I picked up at the local auto parts place. With all the frameless glass in the coupe, there is bound to be some creaking against the seals over time. The silicone is safe for rubber and doesn't leave any oily residue that will gum up over time. I sprayed it on a cloth and rubbed the rubber. I also used the little straw atttachment and sprayed lightly into the channel where the glass goes into the rubber along the top and haven't had trouble since. I treated the car in August.

I just had it at the dealer yesterday for another reason and also asked them to look at this. They applied their version of slipery substance to the window rubber and it helped a little. Now it tends to pop instead of creak. Wondering if the window needs some adjustment as well.

Just started experiencing the same issue with the window seal making sounds when driving over uneven surfaces.. Maybe has to do with dryer weather coming to Boston area.. When I lower the driver's side window ~1 inch, the squeaking sounds go away, so it must be the seal between the front and the rear windows.. Any specific brand of silicon oil I should try or any generic type will do? Thanks in advance.
