2010 E 550 Coupe
I have one on the way and i know that it was made at the Bremen factory in Germany, from what I understand most new designed vehicles start off in the german factories and then can go off to South africa, US, taiwan etc.

i am not sure about the coupe (thats why i asked), but im quite sure the e class will be made in shanghai china or they are already doing this (hopefully for domestic consumptions). it was in the news earlier somewhere, i will try to look for the thread.

Maybe for China distribution, but certainly NOT for North America distribution. US / Canadian buyers would never buy an MB made in China.

no, the Chinese do not really buy Chinese made luxury cars, for example the BMW F10 will be made but only the lower models.
