I know a guy to installed in a 250CDI the 500 system, so it was more easy to him, just plug&play.

Here is an outline of how are the tips of my 350CDI modified to the tips of 500.

left:straight pipe with right:modified/cuted/welded to center the oval exhaust tips trapezoid 500 exhaust tips

note: red are the exausht tips, right-oval(350), left-trapzoid(500)

In my 350CDI I asked for they to leave the oval exausht pipe so it will fill more perfectly the interior of the 500 trapezoid exhaust tips, like this:

Can U see the oval ones in the interior? They stand out very well, once I got better pics I will post them. Or U can just cut the exausht by the limit of the trapezoid exhaust as seen below:
This way it will be equal as the 500Coupe, it's your call:

If U choose to cut as if a 500 the cut of the exhaust in the interior of the trapezoid tips is at the mark of 2cm in the interior of the trapezoid exausht ok? I've measured it in my friends 250CDI-500 modified exausht-tips.

No worries about the warranty, they did not modified/ touched the muflers so go for it.
