I believe the factory bulb is 4300k. I personally like a slight blue tint to my headlights which would be a 6000k bulb. Has anybody changed their bulbs out? I'm thinking about doing this but want to make sure it isn't a problem.

It's not a problem. I changed to 6000k and so have most MB owners.

Great. Where do you guys get the bulbs from? Anywhere particular or just anywhere that sells HID kits and bulbs?

Pretty much any seller of HIDs. I bought them from HIDextra here on the board.

hey guys i am interested in the same as well i want to change my headlight colors from 4300 to somethin a little more blue. I saw my cousins and he has 9k and its too much blue. Should I go 8k or 6k ?

Check out HIDextra's website, they have a chart. I went with 6000k.

Hi dynomite05, I'm thinking of doing the same thing but wasn't sure that the Hidextra bulb wouldn't damage the OEM ballast or anything else.

So what is your experience with these bulbs, are you happy with them?
any bad side effect?
