Keyless Go issues
The following has happened to me regarding the Keyless Go option from the time I purchased my car:
At the 4,500 mile mark, my wife and I drove to San Francisco. We stopped at Pismo Beach, about 150 miles or so from Los Angeles to visit a friend. We stayed for about 1/2 hour. The temperature was in the low 50's or so. When we got in and I tried to start the car, the engine cranked but did not turn over (this is using the keyless go function). I waited a few seconds and tried it again. Again, it did not turn over. Finally, after another try, the engine started and everything was fine for the rest of the trip and beyond.
At the 15,000 mile mark, I attempted to start my car in the morning to go to work. It was, again, in the low 50's or high 40's. I had the same issue...and, again, I was finally able to start the car and everything was fine going forward.
At almost the 20,000 mark, again we went to San Francisco this past weekend. Driving back from SF, we stopped in Pismo to put gas in the car. After putting gas in the car, we drove a block to a market. We were out of the car for about 1/2 hour or so. It was really cold...maybe low to mid 40's. I went to open the car using the keyless go (grabbed the handle) and the car door would not respond. The car would not open. I tried several times and still no response. I had to open the car by manually pressing the button on the key fob in my hand. The car started fine and had no issues since.
Obviously, this will be a discussion at the dealership. But, anyone with a history of the keyless go function in other Mercedes have any insight as to what's up?
Thanks
Bob

I returned to the dealer for the fourth time with my problems. This time I feel that they finally tried to solve my problems. The invoice states: "SDS. Check for Codes Performed Sooftware Flash to Front and Rear SAMS and Intrograted Instrumnt Cluster".
Has worked for one day.
