guys im trying to order the genuine mercedes benz rear boot spoiler for my e class cabriolet.

the part number is A207 793 0088

however when i went to the dealer to order they stated that as my car has the amg sport package installed and the part wont fit.

this i could understand if i was ordering the front lip or side skirts as the amg ones would hav already been installed however:

i dont understand because the boot on which it sits on must be the same.

can anyone clarify is the boot width /length etc the same if you have amg package on ur vehicle or without as the dealer said they would not refund me if it didnt fit.

i was so tempted to order it and prove them wrong because it must be the same. why would mercedes make 2 different boot lids. ( trunk lid as our fellow americans say)

I have the AMG package with an aftermarket spoiler which is identical to the MB spoiler. It fits perfectly, so I tend to agree with you that there is no difference in the trunk whether it be standard or AMG.

Maybe it won't fit because the AMG package already has one installed?
