Hey there![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Can U give me your thoughs about the fitment of the C63 AMG brakes or even the E63 AMG brakes in the ECoupe. Is it possible? The drilled Brakes from the AMG Pack are pretty decent, but I was looking for something more, well...MORE!!
Was considering the C63AMG BrakeSystem because the chassis is the same, but if possible why not those from the E63AMG BrakeSystem?
So is it possible? Easly done? Plug,n,Play?
Thanks in advance

brakes
I am pretty sure I am not right but I figure the e63 brakes would fit over the c63.
There is always aftermarket options like stoptech, brembo etc.

C 63 brake calipers/rotors will fit but you need to either replace the entire spindle assembly ($$) or use an aftermarket caliper bracket (sketchy). DCT Motorsports has a kit - https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...04-sedans.html

StopTech and Brembo and others use caliper relocation brackets for their aftermarket kits. They're not ''sketchy'' if done right but your point is valid even still. It all depends on materials and someone competent behind the design.

Agreed - I have no idea about the design or materials used for the DCT caliper bracket. I certainly trust Brembo as they are an OEM supplier.

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY.It won,t fit.I tried to do that. Can,t you see that i choosed other brakes?BREMBO has no upgrade for E coupe.K sport it is not the best but it is what we need for street use.Remember that i am running 380mm front and 356mm rear, set up that it would have costed me double at BREMBO.Anyway i would have choosed BREMBO but as i said they don't have an upgrade kit.

Actually, they do - check out Tirerack.com for part numbers.
KSport is made in Korea and is sold under many different brand names. Its known as a budget kit and not on the same level.

Now, with the release of the new CCoupe63 AMG, maybe we got a chance of fitting these:

I have a friend that will try this... hope it will work!!
Anyone have been thinking on this?

no, they are optional on the C63 sedan in the UK. I got them from a vendor there. US dealers can also get them here....they cost a bit more however. 18x9's out back and running 275's make a HUGE difference.
edit: I'm talking about the wheels, not the brakes. somehow, I missed the title of the thread. I, too, would like the AMG brake setup, once they're available and don't need to run brackets to fit.
