You're welcome Al. I'm looking forward to reviews from those that aren't current E owners that will truly objectively compare the NA V8 to the TT DFI V8 once the 12's arrive and both cars can be driven back to back. I'm not saying those that are driving the current version can't be objective but owning the current product may tend to cloud their objectivity.

You are correct the 2012 E550 will have the same power output as the 2012 CLS 550 which is 402 hp, but its the same motor in the 2011 CL, just that Mercedes reduced the power a little.

I've already driven the '11CL550 4 matic months ago and wrote a review in the w212 forum under MY2012; the engine in the CL has over 500lb ft of torque which is a big jump over what the E's will get.

Selling Price

Anyone have any idea of a price increase/decrease on the 2012 E350 coupe?

I think I'm holding off for either the new model, or a 1 year old 2011 for a good deal given the changes.

has anyone pre-ordered one of these yet?
