I've been torn between ordering a '12 in Arctic White or Black. Have been leaning towards the white. But, the car just looks so baaaaad in all black. You are not helping.

go white ! i regret not getting white. I like the black but i see a million scratches in the paint, and you can do some nice matte black accessories on arctic white.

But, the fact remains, your car is gorgeous. Enjoy!

I think it also would look good if you did the chrome strip around the bottom in black. That would leave just the chrome rings of your fog lamps. Tape it out with some black electrical tape to check the look before you do something permanent. There really is no reason to have fine scratches in your black paint. My car is black also. Takes a little work. Proper washing and drying and polishing with a dual action buffer. You can find alot of useful info at www.autopia.org.

Sorry, I live in north Alabama and forget that spring hasn't come to the north yet. However, there is a price to pay for early warm sunny weather. Two weeks ago I had an F5 tornado with winds of 195+ pass 4 miles to the north and an F4 175 mph winds pass 3 1/2 miles to the south. Went without power for 7 days. Spent a couple of hours in the closet in the center of the house.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.
But seriously, my cousin and her family live in Trussville. Essentially the same story. Sheltered in their basement overnight. Lost power "only" 1 1/2 days. Their home was spared, but many others not far away were not.
We e mail each other almost every day. When I heard about the F5 and when I couldn't reach them by phone or e mail for 2 days, it was scary here too.
Glad you're safe.
