I agree, I don't see them on this car to be perfectly honest. Why not an AMG E63 rim or similar AMG rim? Someone else posted that question on the board as well recently. Those rims are SICK!

The OEM rims look much better than the LM's. Not feeling the LM's at all. They looked good on the sedan, but they look too large on the coupe.

i think they look good. i think they would look even better if you lowered the car. i know that's not everyone cup of tea, but just a decrease in the wheel well gap and you're golden. way better than oem, even e63 oem wheels. not sure why the majority of people here prefer the oem wheels that came on the cars, i guess it's a MB thing. coming from a BMW, most people dump their oem wheels ASAP. not a big fan of seeing the little old lady in the e-sedan rolling on the same wheels i have. maybe that's why i am into modding my cars....

2014 E550 4Matic with P1/LED/Pano
I'm a fan of quality wheels, no matter the label. OEM can be excellent...BMW has several multi-piece options even and many are made by BBS. I had two piece Ronals and two piece BBS on my MINI....both OEM options.
The problem with many aftermarket wheels is that they are often copied; a beater Civic is running reps that look like the wheels you paid $Texas$ for. Also....most aftermarket wheels LOOK aftermarket.
What I love most is the aftermarket wheel that looks like it should be OEM. Not M-B, but examples I've owned:
19" Prodrive GC014I, forged and made by Rays in Japan![](http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y124/PatagonianGT/0919091717.jpg)
18" Prodrive GC010E, forged and made by Rays in Japan (OEM on the Prodrive UK300 version of the STI)

19" Rays A34, forged and made in Japan (OEM Option from Nissan):

18" BBS LM in Diamond Black, forged and made in Japan

20" Rays R.E.M. Masterpiece, forged and made in Japan

17" BBS RV-F, forged and made in Japan

17" Prodrive PWRC1, cast by OZ Wheels in Italy
![](http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y124/PatagonianGT/2006%20MINI%20Cooper%20S/DSC00804.jpg)
17" BBS LM's in Bright Silver, forged in Japan
![](http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y124/PatagonianGT/2006%20MINI%20Cooper%20S/DSC03416.jpg)
15" BBS RG-F in Bright Silver, forged in Japan (and 10lbs each)

17" BBS in Bright Silver, forged in Japan

The reason I posted all these pics? I'm a self-admitted wheel *****. Nothing has impressed me for the current car more than the AMG options from Mercedes up until now. I'm running C63 wheels for winter and had 19" AMG Version VI for summer. I just sold those as BBS finally has a proper fitment for a wheel I've always loved but never owned; the CH/CH-R. I'm ordering a 19" set as soon as Tire Rack can get them (shortly).

Very nice wheel history. You definitely have good taste.
I would lower it but I only have the car for 6 months (14 000kms actually) so it would be a huge waste of $$. I just didn't want it to look stock.
Thanks for the comments.

Btw, the stock wheels only car:
The 2 front were made in an unnamed plant in Italy, and the rears were made by ronal in Poland. Weird.
