Yes, they are a part of the Appearance Package in the current 2011 model, which also includes the Agility Control sport suspension. It will be the same with the 2012 model coming soon - #321 Appearance Package.

thx for the quick reply. But do you know of you can choose the appearance package from the UK ones? I was thinking to order from the UK.

Dr-Nab is a regular poster in this forum. He has a drop-dead gorgeous white E350 Cab with red/black interior and is located in Nottingham, England. The pictures of his car posted in this forum clearly show the multi-contour seat controls.

I can't tell from the pix if they are a part of the Appearance Package, but at least we know you can get those seats. He will be able to tell you for sure re the total package.

As far as the US spec goes I'm not so sure what's in the appearance packages. There are only two model choices per engine in the UK, Sport or SE - the multi contour seats come as standard in the Sport models as does the Xenon Headlamps/ILS + DRLs, AMG 18s, AMG bodykit etc..

I thought that was part of the P2 kit in the US? Not sure though so don't quote me!!

Definitely worth having the multi contour seats as they're so comfortable, supportive and when you set them right will hold you in place however you take corners

First, no I've had some other matters to deal with and haven't gotten back to the dealer. Have pretty well hashed out what I want though, at least in my own mind.

Was thinking I'd give it a little more time to see the actual ordering guide and prices, which they didn't have as of two weeks ago.

By waiting a bit, I've discovered that black ash wood trim would be available here on the coupe/cab for the first time in addition to the lighter burl wood. Thinking the black ash would look better than the lighter burl with the red/black leather. Black ash is listed as a "special order." All opinions are welcome. Seems the longer I wait, the better it gets, as long as you don't count the fact it'll be that much longer til I get the car.

God, can you tell I don't buy a new car every year!! Trying to achieve lasting perfection here. It'll never happen, of course.

• 409 - Multicontour Front Seats;
• 486 - AGILITY CONTROL Sport Suspension (V6 only);
• 795 - 18" AMG Twin 5-Spoke Alloy Wheel.
