Will be getting a new E 200 Coupe Sep 6.
Got the new 7G-tronic+ ,new CLS style steering wheel and the full color display dashboard.
Obsidian Black metallic, flamenco red leather upholstery.
The only opts I didnt go for are the Distronic plus and memory package.
Ive asked the dealer to apply Diamond Bright to my finish.
Will post a few photos when I get it.

My E350C is now stateside and should be delivered soon. Non-metallic black with the new-to-the-U.S. red/black leather.

If you are able to get a few shots of the interior without overexposure by a flash, etc., I'd be curious to see if the red you get there is different from what they are shipping here.

It is only referred to as "red/black leather" in the description. It is Trim Code 257.

I hope the clock moves faster for you than it is for me.

I think the color combination will be beautiful.
Diamond Bright is a special polish which is applied to the car on its arrival at the dealers and will keep the car in showroom conditions for a long time, in fact they are offering 6 years guarantee against any swirl marks.

Congratulations on the new car, can't wait to see some pictures of it.

Do they say that you should only wash the car with water if you're using diamond brite or use the special shampoo every month?

Sounds a lot like supaguard, I think it's a bit of a con, the GL got "Star Guard" treatment on the paintwork and to be honest it hasn't really worked.. I get better results cleaning it the way I do my Cab... it was free though instead of being about $300 so it didn't really bother me.

I'd rather just spend some time getting to know the panels and detail the car myself, use some poorboys & dodo juice products to get it smooth and nicely glazed as if the paint looks wet, then seal it with collinite wax - when you apply two coats of that it hardens and is good for 12 months.

Thanks for filling us in on the Diamond Brite product... I would be skeptical to pay extra for something like that. Seems like you'd be better off with regular washes.

I'm not paying for the Diamond bright treatment and all it took was a 2 mins BJ. joking
Im getting it free as this is my 3rd new car from the same dealer so they are going to treat my car with the Diamond bright at no extra cost as a token of appreciation otherwise it wouldve set me back 450 Euros.
