Thing is, they wouldn't say that.

The straight LED's debuted in 2010 as well, and have been used on the C-Class already, so if anything, the hockey sticks have a more "ooh/ahh" unique presence to them.

BTW, I looked closely at the straight LED's, and they aren't a clear-lense, "points of light" look (when off). They have a more opaque look, that doesn't show you the LED points of light inside. I wouldn't be surprised if the hockey sticks are brighter (they're probably the same brightness though), since the C's and such, with the straight LED's have always seemed a little more dim to me.
