Just picked up my new 2012 E 350 Coupe with Option S01 today. I looked through my user's manual package but could not find one for the Command System. There is a Voice Contro System Operating Instructions manual but not a manual to operate the Command System manually (using the joy stick).

Am I missing a manual?

My sales person also stated that programming a garage door opener can be a pain, has anybody having any trouble programming the garage door opener?

Yes, my 2012 E350 Coupe came with a separate 188-pages Command manual. You might check with your dealer for your missing manual.

I did the programming of my garage door. It was straightforward and I didn't encounter any problems. Just follow the instructions per the user's manual, I programmed mine in less than 5 minutes.

This will be my 3rd MB in a year - The garage door isn't that difficult, even with rolling codes - but it's much easier to have one person in the car and another on a latter at the garage opener head unit. I just watched axhoaxho's recommended video - it's golden! It explains everything perfectly... good luck!

Thank you guys. I found the Command manual in the glove compartment separated from the packet.

As per garage door opener, I remember it was easy on my CLK 350 (I traded in my CLK 350), butthe sales person kept saying how difficult it is and he would be willing to come to my house to set it up for me.
