As far as I know, twin oval tailpipes are standard on V6 models i.e. 350 and twin trapezoidal tailpipes are standard on V8 models i.e. 550 !

In some markets IE Denmark and Norway all models with Sport/AMG package including four cylinder models get the appearance of the V8 models for 2012.

I think our taxes may be to blame - my 220 CDI coupe would be 100.000 USD more expensive with a V8 - Sick?
