Benz Conquest program
Hi,
Has anybody used the Mercedes conquest program for their purchase?
I have a Porsche so would qualify. Would be $2K off a E550 coupe I'm looking at. Also did you use it with the USAA or AAA buying service- I had one dealer tell me they can be combined, another said it can't.

2012 E550 Cab
I'm looking to use it next week if I decide to pull the trigger. 550 Cab. 2 grand off for owning a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Dealer is also discounting $4500 off of about a 77+K sticker, so I can get the car at $71K, about a grand under invoice.

The $2000 conquest program discount is paid by Mercedes, not the dealer. It is similar to a manufacturers rebate but in this case is limited to owners of competing products. Its an incentive to try MB. Dealers also get what's called 'hold back' on each car. Its a manufacturers support for the dealer's advertising, carrying costs on inventory, and other costs of business. If a dealer can sell a car right away they don't experience the costs and can pocket the hold back as additional profit.
FYI, markup to invoice for the E550 cab and the options is about 7.5 %.
