Anyone knows how turn on the DRL(LED) at the same time as the Headlight?

I went to Mercedes dealership and he told it can not be operated at same time... but I have seen couple cars in the street and in this forum too running the headlight with DRL??

My 2012 has the P2 Package, its headlamps & DRLs are both On when I turn-on the headlamps.
