so i went with

20X8.5 ET35 245/30/20
20X10 ET42 275/30/20
I wanted to have matching tires front and back and found a deal.
Question can i lower my car on springs whichever lowers it the least? Especially in the front!

I would not recommend lowering. Buy used springs if you wish to try it so you don't lose too much money. The springs can resell pretty easy but their is still the install costs for swapping back and forth.

Do you think it will rub in the front and the rear?

Based on my experience, the rear tires will rub if you lower your car. Mine rubbed really bad with 45 offset on at 10" wheel when I was lowered on Eibach springs. However, I had 285/30's and you have 275/30's so can't compare 100%.

I swapped back springs ASAP as I was afraid of a tire blowout on the highway or cracking my fender over any bumps.

In my opinion, I don't think our car looks bad with stock springs. Not like my previous Lexus GS350 AWD. That thing looked like a 4x4 with larger wheels and I lowered that car immediately.

Looks better lowered, but I am certainly not upset with the stock spring stance.

How is this setup?
19 x 8.5 et 35 with 245 tires
19 x 9.5 et 40 with 275

Think I can squeeze 285 on the back?

Car will be stock. I have no plans on dropping

E550 Coupe
* BUMP*

So I never ended up getting those wheels at the time, but now I am def getting the Stance SF01 in brush bronze.

Im looking at going with 20x8.5 et 35 and 20x10 et ( 42 or 45 not sure) but I also decided to lower them on the H&R Springs

Biggest concerns are rubbing and sticking out, looking for flush as possible

Thinking about 245-30-20 and 275-30-20 , would the rear wheel be to much and better with 275-25-20?

Any comments on the setup and does anyone have any insight on how the H&R's are? Rough ride??

275/30-20 (26.5") does fit E sedans, but E coupes have less room, so it may or may not fit. But I would not go more than 1" over stock diameter, hence I chose 265/30-20 (26.3").
@threeMBs

Old thread... but where does the interference start for large diameter rear tires? The inner fender liner?

So I have a 2012 E350 Coupe with the Sport package staggered wheels etc. I am looking to buy these wheels in a 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 I have talked to people online about the correct offset before I buy them need some of you guys advice. The offset is +35 front and +38 front and rear will that be ok with no lowering possibly later with 235/35/20 and 275/30/20 rear tires.

Help

Someone is trynna sell me 20x8.5 +25 wheels for my e550 coupe. I’m new here so I was wondering if they will rub on my car? He said all wheels are the same size & that there’s no offset.

new to the boaed

Hi guys,

I'm new to this group and just picked up a 2015 E550 convt. A friend of mine has a set of 20 in AMG wheels that came from a benz CLS.
The sizes are: 9.5Jx 20H2 ET38 & 8.5Jx20H2 ET38
will these fit and if so, what sizes tires can I put on them to fill the wheel wells without rubbing
