I found this review of the 4Matic system, with test drives in the 2012 C350/E350 coupe. Thought I'd share with this forum.

Article mentions availability in the U.S. next month, consistent with what some in this forum have mentioned. Wonder why MB hasn't started to promote this on their website.

Thanks for finding/posting this. Somewhat surprising these new 4Matics would be tested in Jackson Hole Wyoming more than a month before official introduction to the US market, but I guess anything is possible. Wish the increase for the E350C4 was either more in line with the current ~ $2k mark-up as seen on the sedans, or especially with the lesser $1,125 mark-up on the C350C4 ... but I guess you gotta pay to play.

What about the 550? No 4WD love there? Glad to see this coming though. This was a definite advantage to Audi.
