Photographers have managed to snap a handful of photos of the facelifted 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe out and about on public streets. From the looks of things, designers have graced the two-door with a new front fascia, complete with light elements likely borrowed from the E-Class wagon and sedan. Looks like a pretty tame facelift but I'm guessing that the integrated LED DRLs will make a big difference in the look. Of all the years, I still like the hockey stick DRLs on the 2010s the best.
I wonder when the "all new" model year will be?

Can anybody confirm whether these changes (no quad headlights, etc) are for the 2013 model year coupes set to arrive this year, or the 2014 my's? Seems like half the articles insinuate 2013 and the other half 2014. Any further insight would be appreciated as I'm in the market for one and obviously this would significantly impact the decision. Thanks.

seems like the changes only on headlight lights ... the front and the rare bumper would be the same.

Articles reference new single turbo engine in the 550 as well as possible interior mods. Again, model year still unclear.

Hi, i am from germany and new here. Driving a E-500 Coupe (5,5ltr,388hp)

MB WDF is a very interesting forum. Getting sometimes more information as in Germany. For instance, some month before, one gay knew already very detailed information about the 4-matic, which is not available in Europe (stupid idea).

But now, i would like to know more about this single turbo V8. Nobody believes this in Germany. Could you name any article, writing about this engine or do you now whether this engine is again only for the us market?

Could be just pure speculation. I've seen 2013 dealer ordering guide and no mention of different engine. Somewhat suspicious is that the only photo was from the rear side angle and did not reveal the front end lights, so can't tell if quads still exist. Also, in the 2013 P2 package now there is no mention of LED option like in 2012 model year. This would support possibility of them being integrated into singular head lights similar to the CLS. Local dealers have not heard of this but first 2013 my's set to arrive this week so we'll see.

Anybody with any further info feel free to chime in on this...
