I have not but only done some medium level acceleration. But even doing so both my wife and I were pushed back to the back of our seats. Man....we both agreed that the different between the E350 and E550 was very worth it. Had the diff in cost been like $10K to $15K, we would have had to think twice. And I think city driving fuel consumption between the E550C and the C300 loaner car is not much different either, like a couple miles, strange... We both agreed that the engine sound and exhaust note on the loaner car was pretty bland. My E36 320I Coupe, which had a 2-liter I6 engine, that I already sold, sounded much more aggressive with the factory exhaust setup.
To summarize, we love the car and would recommend anyone contemplating to get an E350C that, if they could, they should give the E550C a try.
