Cornering LED Bulb

Has anyone replaced the H7 cornering bulb on the bi-xenon headlamps with a H7 led bulb. If so, which bulb did you purchase? I was able to get them out of the housing but im no sure what led bulbs to replace them with.

Can you please tell me how you got them out? I would like to replace the bulbs as well but I must make sure how to get them out and re-install.

Do the bulbs come with the bulb holders as well for securing the bulbs and the headlamp behind?

They are fairly easy to take out but the drivers side bulb is very difficult to put back in. All i did was rotate the bulb counter clockwise via to remove it.

Did you do everything under the hood or remove the wheel well cover behind the bumper?

I need to do some research for the H7 bulbs (led) canbus (no error) and let you know which ones are compatible.

Can you post the bulbs (OEM) and let me confirm the bulb type?

Thanks.

Yes i was able to everything under the hood since the cornering bulbs are located behind the second dust cap. I put the bulbs back in but i am fairly certain they are H7 bulbs like the one below.

Thanks, I will try and see whether my hand can reach the bulbs. If not, I will give up.

They are H7 yeah, I can't get my hands in to take them out though

Imagine these would be okay plus maybe some load resistors

These bulbs should be plug-and-play without any load resistors. I think it would be cheaper to buy them directly from the China wholesellers.

I am wondering whether these led bulbs will "brighter" than those generic halogen bulbs. Considering a regular H7 bulb can produce 55w or 65w (~ 2000 lm) compared to 6w (less than 500 lm) unless you are using the HID kit.

I just noticed the cornering bulbs change intensity as the wheel is turned, they are not just on or off but fade in or out. What effect do you guys think the voltage variation will have on those H7 leds.

i think that rather than fading it may make LEDs flash. it happened to a friend of mine when he had LEDs on a dimmer switch. dont know if its the same sort of thing?????
i changed mine cornering lights for 7500k H7s and they look really good. my D1S's are 8000k so not a bad colour match.
replacing the bulbs though are a bugger. getting them out is easy but putting back in is tough. its really tight so makes it hard to rotate.
