Quote: If you go to the tirerack site they show these springs for the E550. No adjustments needed.
I visited the tirerack site and they only had them for the 350. The only thing that showed up for the 550 was the coil over kits. How did you find them?

Eibach springs
Quote: Is that the eibach pro kit that they say is only for the E350? Did you have to make any adjustments to fits the springs?
I called Eibach USA the other day and the man I talked to wasn't that familiar with our E550 coupe application, and when I pressed him on a spring application that is listed as for the E350 coupe, and how it works in the E550 coupe, he referred to the Eibach Germany catalog. You can find that at www.eibach.de and click on the American flag in the upper right for English. That shows a part number E10-25-019-02-22 for the C207 E350 CDI model. There is no listing for a 550 coupe, although obviously that spring fits our car. It shows a 30mm lower ride height and a front axle load to 2530 pounds, and a rear axle load to 2640 pounds. Going to this site, http://www.automobile-catalog.com/ma...07_1/2012.html it shows the 350 CDI six cylinder as being 113 pounds lighter in base curb weight than the 550 V8. Pretty minor difference in an almost 2 ton car, so I'm confident that the spring will work fine. Odd though that it's only listed for the lower displacement models of the 207 coupe, and not the hot rod bi-turbo V8.

Nice upgrades
I'm looking to do something similar to my daily driven 2012 E350 coupe.... Can you give me some specs on your rim and tire package?
