2007 mb e 350 4matic

hello
I am new to the forum , I have an 07 e 350 4matic i just had to have the ignition switch replaced. the car starts and runs fine now,but the remote will not lock or unlock doors and trunk, no panic button either . I changed batteries as well. any idea how I can fix this short of going back to dealer .

thanks in advance for any help you can give
