To each his own.

Are the Shifters Clearly Visible in these last 2 pictures?

Yes they are visible. They need to be visible and as close to the headlights as possible in order to work.

You really should remove that license plate, that's where all police aim their laser gun and gives them a perfect target. You don't have great jammers so you should really do everything you can to protect yourself.

You should try and get the Blinder HP-905s or the Laser Interceptor, they're way, way way ahead of the laser shifters.

I agree, license plate needs to go for a couple of reasons. Also, agree with the blinder or laser interceptor is the only way to go.

The reason why I posted the picture is because
I was hoping someone can tell me what these
"Laser shifter" is ?

Also with the radar detector... How does it work?

Does it shut off all police speed guns?
The dealer who did put this product in my vehicle told me
It's good to have a radar detector . I responded with that I do not like any
After market products that have extra cords and wires.

So he said this radar has no extra wires since it is built in. Other then

That, I really don't think it's useful. It just beeps and the woman on it won't stop blabbering .
I usually keep it off.
As to the plate, It was my best option. Timeless look. Also the dealer put holes in the bumper for the frame, but I only have one plate. I took the frame off just to see how it would look with 2 holes in the bumper, it's ugly to say the least. Hence the Benz plate.

Which one do you have in your car? The blinder or the interceptor and did you have the escort before ? I'm assuming you're getting your information from personal experiences.

I have the Blinder HP-905 Laser Jammer. And, also use the Valentine V1 for radar. Below is a pic with the HP-905 installed in grill.

I did not install a sensor in rear. did not think it was needed. Mine has save me several times and where I live have never seen or heard of laser being shot to the rear. Here is what I have found from one of the so called experts:

"Nationally, 97% of all police laser attacks are aimed at the front of your car. The only region that I am aware of that focuses on rear laser traps are the Dallas Forth Worth area, where they shoot laser from overpasses."

What exactly are you losing by having the rear sensor ?

Kind of weird to get the system and not have rear protection..
The whole idea of having the system , for me, is to have the peace of mind. Would be unethical to just have front protection , especially when you claim that the system you have is soo much better. Defeats the entire purpose of having the so called "best" laser shifter , if you don't even have the rear protection.

As I stated above, I do not live where rear protection is needed. In my area they have a ton of speed traps with laser in 25-45 mph zones. No need for rear protection. They shoot only from the front. Not sure what you mean by "unethical". If you want a piece of mind I suggest you take off that huge target you have on the front of your car. Go to your local body shop and have them fill in the holes. You might want to go online and look at some of the test results for the ZR4 Shifter, Laser Interceptor and the Blinder HP-905. See how safe you feel then. Cheers !!!!

You definitely should. I'd argue the ZR4 offers almost no protection against modern laser guns. I'm willing to bet one HP-905 head on the front will out perform the ZR4. You have little protection with them.
