Roof problem on 2010 E350 CDI Cabriolet
I just bought my E350 CDI Cabriolet last week.
It is a 2010 model.
When I put the roof down, about half way through it makes a LOUD bang noise, almost like its just broken. Same when I put the roof back up.
Have booked it into my local Mercedes garage for end of next week, but wondered if anyone else has experienced this?
I'm very worried as I've only had the car a week! Bought from a private seller and it was working fine when bought.
Any advice / comments would be appreciated.

Congratulations on the car 
No idea what that issue could be, there's a whole host of things it could be from lifting arms, rams, the motors - definitely one to be checked out by a dealership, should be covered by the manufacturer warranty anyway.

Thanks Dr Nab. Yes, it's a massive relief I have warranty which should hopefully cover the repair.
Absolutely loving the car though. Went from a BMW Z4.
This E convertible is a different league entirely!
