ok bare with me here guys, i dont really know what im doing so there may be some stupid questions in this thread. this is my first car.

i want to put 20" wheels on my e350 coupe and have the distance between the wheel and wheel well to be even all the way around. i do not want a "stance"... in addition, i want the sides of the wheels to sit flush with the fenders. i do not want it to look like the wheel is sitting far inside the wheel well.

my questions are.. will i need to have my car lowered in order for the wheels to sit the way i want? how much would it have to be lowered?

how do i get the wheels to sit flush to the side of the car? spacers?

is it better to go to a local shop to get wheels rather than shopping online?

anyone with 20" wheels on their e350, please post pictures or suggestions for wheels.

also, does anyone know how to delete the orange reflector? is it just glue?

If you're referring to the side markers you have to either paint lens cover or replace with clear ones. Pre-painted can be ordered from evosport and clear from eBay. Try search function for more info on this.

i have got 20s on mine without lowering it. and theres a good distance from tire to wheels arch. the front wheels are 8.5 inches wide and the rear are 9.5 inches
iv got 5mm spcaers on the front and back and it brings them out perfectly.

Somehow yours looks ok without drop. Saw a sedan with no drop and 20's and it looks funny.

glad you like it fellas. cant remember the offset but the wheel sizes are
front 8.5 inch wide with 245/30 20
rear 9.5 inch wide with 255/30 20
heres a couple more pics. sorry but its well dirty. its that time of year in london so very hard to keep a white car spotless.

haha ill take some better pics for you when the car is clean Gavro.
i made them out of my old carbon fiber side skirts that were on my S5.
it was a bit tricky i gotta admit. but looks cool now because iv got carbon that runs the whole way around the car.

if you like that carbon strip like in your links try going on google and typing universal carbon fiber side skirts. i think i came across something like that once before.

dvalentinolocke what is the distance between the fenders and your wheels.? Is it lowered?I have a e250 coupe not lowered with 19 inch wheels and i am thinking of going to 20''.My only problem is that i am afrait that my car will seem like a truck without lowering it.i will post some pictures of my coupe

sportlineman - ill measure the distance for you when i get home. mines not lowered iv only got spacers on and its ok. i think you'll be fine with 20s.

Some pictures of my coupe.i compare the height with some 2009 models and for some reason i found that those are lower than mine.we both have the dynamic handling control and assume the same suspension.
