I've never owned a Mercedes before and I'm about to buy a used 2011 E550. There is nothing worrying in the carfax, and the car looks very clean. I could use an advice on what to look for when testing the vehicle, what specific things should I pay attention to in terms of driving and equipment?

I'm not aware of any problem areas and at this point the car should still be under warranty

If you want to be sure, take it to an independent mechanic to inspect and / or a body shop to look for damage / repairs (overspray). If carfax is clean and the car drives well, get the extended warranty if you want peace of mind. Good luck with your purchase.
