To me it doesn't look like moving from 275 to 265 will eliminate rubbing in the rear. Although the tire is 10 mm narrower, its only 5mm per side, and that seems to be more than 5mm away from clearing that (IMO, based on that pic).

What kind of tires are you using? Looks like even more than 38et with that poke. The 265s may work but it’s hard to say for sure. Try letting some air out the tires and seeing if it rubs. Also do you know what your camber is at? Lastly I zoomed in and think I see that little inner fender lip, usually people get that rolled if you still have that your problem may be as simple as rolling that.

That should but your current setup should work which is why I asked those other questions. Especially about that inner lip you can check simply by putting you hand in the fender and seeing if there’s a lip poking out.

New member to the forum, but this is the setup i’ve been running on my E400 4MATIC for the past 8 months. My local performance shop is an absolute wizard for confidently being able to make this setup work properly and safely.
H&R Lowering Springs
Vertini RFS1.3 RotaryFlow Forged wheels
20x9 fronts on 245/35/20
20x10 rears on 285/25/20
Nitto Invo tires
I know the question everyone will ask is, does it rub? Absolutely no rubbing in the front, even at full lock. In the rears however, initially it was rubbing but only when there was a deep dip in the pavement. It was corrected by my performance shop by slightly curving upwards the part of the rear body that tucks into the wheel well. That is about as well that I could describe it but it was done professionally and looks literally untouched as it did from the factory. No issues with rubbing since then.
As I said in the beginning, i’ve been running this setup for the past almost 9 months with no issues. Thankfully my local Florida roads are not bad so this works fine as my daily driver putting little mileage on it. I’m young so i’m not too bothered by a stiff ride, dodging the occasional pothole, etc. It is a very aggressive setup and most definitely is not for everyone but I love the way the car sits and it’s a big head turner and compliment-getter everywhere I go.

Front wheel fitment
Hi guys,
I have the chance to pickup a set of local HREs. They are wheels only, so the sizes I wrote are the ones I’m planning on. Let me know if I should change the tire sizes! I’m really only concerned about the front sizes wheels. It’s not common to run 9.5 in the front. Is it possible 9.5 et45? Front
245/35/19
19x9.5 et 45
Rear
285/30/19
19x9.5 et 45
Thank you!!

Hello Everyone,
I just recently bought this 2010 e350 with only 50 000 km and I'm seeking for some advice on fitment regarding the wheels and some suggestions for tire sizing as well.
Thank you very much in advance,
I would like to keep the suspension stock
Current suspension and wheels:
Agility Control damping system
Strut front suspension & 5-arm multi-link rear suspension
Front: 235/45R17 - 7.5Jx17 ET45
Rear: 255/40R17 - 8.5Jx17 ET49
Will these FIT without spacers?
C43 amg wheel specs:
Front: 7.5Jx19 ET44
Rear: 8.5Jx19 ET52
I don't have any tires atm, I would appreciate some suggestions for the best tire setup to run with these
Thanks,

Can the transmission handle this setup?
I was wondering if I could run 245/40/19 front and 285/35/19 on my 2010 e550 coupe rwd? I am sure I will have to roll fenders or run negative camber a bit but I was wondering if this would damage the transmission at all because it is so far off from standard spec.

it will work maybe but it is a tall setup. 245/35 and 285/30 is better. Also depends on your offset

only one way to find out lol. It does change the way it handles. But people put bigger wheels and tires on their car all the time. So it’s up to you. You need to know the offset though. And fender rolling is not so easy on our cars.

The off set is front 33et and rear 38et. Front width 8.5” rear 9.5”. I have this rear camber bushing kit as well as coilovers but I think I still may need to roll fenders. I was concerned about the fender roll does it get that bacon look?

ask the seller if you can mount and ride on it before you buy it
#219
Not sure if I should go 19s or 20s I just bought coilovers surprised how low it went bottomed out went low first day and raised it up second day we dialed it in and it’s riding so smooth
All the way down d2 coilovers
Raised 3/4

Nice how is the ride down there? I would probably go 19” looks good on this car dropped. Sometimes I even want to go back to 18 with larger tires.
#221
it’s not that bad at all I have the dampening det to stiff but man I’m surprised how smooth it is don’t really rub unless I hit a pot hole or something. Haven’t drove around low in about 4 years. I think 19s sound perfect even 18’with a nice falken azenia

I just detailed the car aswell cut buff and ceramic coating

Will these fit?
Hey,
I have a 2010 E550 coupe.
Car currently sits on stock staggered18s, 235 fronts and 255 rears.
Saw these for sale locally
5x112 Bolt pattern
ET 35x8.5 Inches squared
255/35/19 Front
275/35/19 Rear
Will these fit with no modifications?
If they do fit, will it look OK not lowered? I do not want to lose the ability to toggle sport mode ON/OFF, which I understand I will lose if the car is lowered.
Also, can the TPS be moved over from factory wheels to these?
Thanks so much, I am a car newb.

sounds like it should fit but the back may be pushing it since you’re not lowering it shouldn’t matter though but might want to go 30 instead of 35. I tend to think aftermarket wheels look bad if the car isn’t lowered but you can decide after. The only way you’ll lose sport mode is if you remove the factory shocks which I’m assuming have electric dampers on your car and that can be easily corrected by installing cancellers in their place if you were to do that. The best route would probably be to just get lowering springs then all the electrical components would remain stock.
Do I can keep the stock struts and just get lowering springs? That will let me still have the functionality of the "sport" button and will provide a lower ride height?
Yah I am afraid it will get the 4 x 4 look with aftermarket wheels too.
