E350 Cabo (W207) Bi-Xenon upgrade
Pardon a nubie question...
I'd like to investigate a real Mercedes drop-in Bi-Xenon conversion to my 2011 E350 (W207) Cabriolet with P1. The car currently has Halogen Projectors. I've read about all I can find regarding HID conversions but little is available for a factory (or OEM) Bi-Xenon upgrade. I do know it looks expensive! Can it be done and does the car recognize a Bi-Xenon conversion and allow auto-leveling or other features?
Thanks for the help

Would probably be easier and much cheaper to change the bulbs or just get a HID kit fitted, the car will recognize the OEM bi-xenons once it is all coded in but you'd need replacement headlamp clusters, wiring looms, ballasts, headlamp washers and so on.

The doctor is in the house! Thanks for the advice, sounds like Bi-Xenon is a very expensive (and complicated) way to go VS. a standard HID conversion. Can you recommend a best brand HID (I'm seeing a lot of Morimoto) and what do most do with the high beam bulb?
PS I love what you've done with your car... too bad you don't make house calls

I'm working with Lightwerkz on a halogen projector retro to bi-xenon. The only hitch may be the permaseal sealant used to seal the headlights (very hard to remove) Lightwerkz appears to be very competent. I'll report back the results.
