Yes the picture shows the front SAM unit. The rear SAM unit does not have to be exchanged. The difference here is, that you restyle a W212 and not a W207 like gavro did.You need to exchange way more parts than he did.
You need to find a professional work shop, that is able to deal with MB vehicles.
This work shop needs MB Star C4 with online connection to MB Headquarter to reprogram the front SAM unit. Also you will probably need an already restyled W212 2013+.
The connectors have to be properly repined by an electrician. The rear SAM unit is easier to deal with, but still tricky.
It is common that the Mercedes dealer refuses the installation. Please move your car to a work shop with professional programmers and electricians and I am sure you will be able to adapt the lights. There are already people who did it. Thus it is not impossible!

yes I will buy a FRONT SAM CONTROL with wire from a w212 car new model & I will replace the existing SAM & WIRES also & I hope it will working
all the job is finished now we need only to resolve the lights problem & the car will be ok
I find that the lights now is totally a led no more xenon then we must change the SAM UNITE . I have a small default in rear lights also but I think we can resolve it by editing the connection

I did a complete amg 2014 conversion on a 4cyl diesel from 2011, full body, front and rear Sam, doors - everything also inside with color change ambient lightning.
I have all working with the front lights, ILS, turning lights and everything.
Anybody figured out the tempomat problem??? Mine is working but gives a fault code in the cluster. Also don't show the normal set speed in the cluster.
Also my tail lamps give fault codes on the inner lamps (because facelift have no brake light inner) and also I have a dimmed brake light on constantly on the out side. Only when braking it is on full - I'll get some better pictures maņana.

For the moment i think you cannot solve the Tempomat problem, but my guy from MB told me in a few months will solve my problem.Your HOLD function works?
I will install my rear next week, maybe i can help you with info after instalation.Anyway ,your car now looks SMASHING.

played with some different camera setups today and found one working so I can get the adaptive high beam assist to work - it works and reads traffic signs, and register the lane I am in, really cool functions. The CAN e2 from the cam to the headlamps and instrument cluster is also working so all good.
The only thing is I now need to change the windscreen to fit the cam properly, since they changed the design on the cam to only fit the new screen - not so cool at all actually.
My "hold" function works - no problem. What electronics did you change and who coded the Sam? It must be some wrong codings in either the Sam or zgw.
Does you tempomat work and only gives the fault code like mine or doesn't work at all and also a fault code??

Hi Chamber,
Congratz bro Questions for the W212 Sedan front side,
1.) Besides the front bumper, Did you change the hood, headlight bracket, air intakes/inlets, fastening elements (black molding plastics behind the bumper) ?
Can you tell me which parts needed for the front side bro.
Thanks
