do you have a diagram, i am confused?
what is the subframe in the front?
rear differential? is that the pumpkin in the middle? that wouldnt be too stable? the "arms" to the wheels are covered in plastic, so do i remove the plastic and put the jack stands under the "arms" in the rear?
forgive my ignorance.
i want to paint my calipers and change wheels so i want to jack up the car and put 4 jack stands under it.
i am used to old chevys that the frame is visible. the bnottom of this car is covered in plastic.

I just raised my car yesterday and removed wheels , going to check them on a road force balance machine tomorrow
can post pictures tonight how to raise the car
Front
you raise car using front subrame ( there is plastic/rubber in the middle and no , it is not covered in plastic )
and put stands under front back jack pads
Rear
you raise car using rear differential ( pumpkin in the middle ) and put stands under rear back jack pads
My only issue is my BMW stands ( see generics ) are not working well with MB jack pads

MB jack pad has another design so it requires specific stand I think , the head on this generic stand is too big
and does not match to the empty space on a jack pad
