Get a 2 wheel drive V8 Biturbo Mercedes and have it tuned and you will quickly understand the need for an LSD. The traction control light flashes almost constantly under even seemingly moderate acceleration and reduces power, along with wearing out your rear brakes prematurely trying to control the wheel spin.

I plan on getting a tune for my 2012 e550c. From what I'm reading, it seems that I would benefit from getting a LSD. Is that correct?
Anyone know which brand makes the best one? Also, how much will I be spending on an LSD. What kind of work is required to get the LSD installed or is it an entire unit where I can drop the existing final drive and put on the new one?
Also, which vendor can I buy a LSD from?

I did not. It took a lot of restraint haha. I reached out to the quaife guys out in UK while they had a deal going on, but at the end of the day I figured I won't benefit as much as my purpose is just a highway cruiser. Different story and different outcome if my plans were to track it though.
