FM radio reception very poor
Hello ! Anyone suffering with really poor radio reception on the FM bands??? My radio cannot stay with national radio channels so I have to autostore 3-4 times in a journey sometimes just getting the most local station. My car is at the dealers and they are telling me they cannot find a fault and yet the courtesy car radio covering the same area has no issues at all with reception.
The area of the dealers is a major city which generally will have the most powerful signal,
Does anyone have any experience with this problem? Plus is the antennae for the FM built into the windscreen??
I think they are loathed to change the screen for this problem even though it is still under warranty,

Well my car has been at the dealers for 3.5 days and apart from the service and other smaller issues they have yet to be able to find the problem with the radio reception. Fortunately I was able to video the issue so they can actually see the radio stations disappearing on the screen. So there is no debate about the problem being a real one!!!

The antennae is in the front windscreen glass, the wire you can see, not to sure where the amplifier is, possibly inside the window pillar???
My fault has now been diagnosed after 2 weeks in the dealers as the command module, so they have to order a new one from Germany, so it is still at the dealers as I said I did not want the car back until it was fixed completely, which hopefully now it will >>>>>>
The diagnosis of the fault has actually been time consuming if not complex, they have had to remove a command module from a doner vehicle prove the fault and then remove that and as I said order a new one from Germany.......
The dealer to be fair have been very good !!!!!
