Question regarding 2012 E350 Coupe Winter Tires 18“ OEM

Question regarding 2012 E350 Coupe Winter Tires 18“ OEM
Hi guys,

I own a 2012 e350 coupe with the stock OEM 18“ 6-spoke AMG rims.

The OEM tires are 235/40R18.

My friend has a set of 245/40R18 all-around winter tires, will it fit with my OEM rims?
If not, will these tires be okay for winter if I buy a set of new rims?

not a wheel/tire expert, but check this website out.

http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-Size-Calculator

put in the tire sizes and it will give you a variance in which you can make an educated decision with. good luck.

I run 245s on my stock wheels for winter and they're fine. I'm even lowered and still have no issues
