Blacked out my 2012 E350
I finally decided to black out my E350 coupe. Here are some before and after pictures for those of you that are thinking about blacking out your car.

well done man .. looks very mean ... I have done this black mod before too but after awhile I found the car lost it's elegant look.. Perhaps just too black .. so in the end I left the tail light untinted and the window trims in chrome..now and now I'm very happy with the look.

Looks sinister! Did you vinyl wrap the chrome? The wheels look AMG. Did you powder coat them black? Like the way you blacked out the side lights as well...

Nice!! Did you powdercoat the exhaust tips?
Also, the original looks like you have the distronic disc on the front grill ... does your car have the distronic and where did you find a completely black disc if it does??
One other observation, the center caps on your wheels look out of place on the powdercoated wheel. You might consider getting the star center caps in black with chrome star. That would look better, what I did was to get the star center caps and had them completely powdercoated black to match the wheel ... it still has the mercedes detail but the wheels look much better in my opinion, it doesn't distract from the black out.

Looks good man! One thing I would do is change the hub caps to the Mercedes Black with Chrome star. The hub caps in black will match the rims better. They sell them at the dealerships btw

Nice! No idea on how to install, but I had the workers install my caps while they were working on my car.

Just browsing through the threads, but I've done this on my C class, get some really sticky tape and stick it to the center cap in the wheel with a fold in the middle so you can grab on to it and give it a good yank. Alternatively you can use a flat piece of plastic, I used a knife, to pop the old one out, and just pop the new one in.
