Hi guys I'm thinking of buying a set of mufflers and I can't decide between Meisterschaft GTS, Eisenmann Sport and Super Sprint. Actually I'm looking for more solid and more refined sound like the Maserati has, or close to. I have only heard the Eisenmann on our cars but neither Meisterschaft or Super Sprint. Anyone ever heard of them on our cars in person ?

I would personally go with Eisenmann. They make the exhaust on AMG cars and Porsches.

I'm using gutted C63 mufflers and I believed they were made by Eisenmann too. I'm afraid the sound will not have much different except louder and deeper but I'm looking for more solid/smoother and higher pitch tone.

I'm not certain it will be easy to get a more high pitched sound from the rear boxes, have you changed the headers on your car? Might be worth seeing if supersprint do race headers for the V8 BT, youtube search for supersprint SLS, there's a red one with race headers and x-pipes, sounds insane very high pitched.

My car doesn't have headers only down pipe.. and I already changed to high flow cat
The price of a downpipe is close to a rear box so I would rather replace the rear box as it will change the sound more significantly than a down pipe

I would just keep the ones you have. C63's are one of the best sounding cars.

only way your going to achieve this is by adding headers as well.

I was wondering what brand of downpipes do you have on and how did you like them?

Its hard to get a sound like that in a turbo car, remember turbos block the exhaust and run on low rpms so its hard to make them scream like you want.. if i was you i would stay the same, i dont think you will make a big difference in changing the ehxuast
