Warping rotors
Ever since the car was new I've had warped rotors well before the pads are worn. I generally drive a bit quick but wouldn't say I was particularly abusive on the brakes. What have others with this issue done. It feels like crap having slightly pulsating brakes.

Brand new E550 cabriolet with a minor warping issue already at 800 miles on the odometer. Its going back to the dealer Friday for creaks in the windows, the brake issue and creaking in the steering wheel. Not feeling the love yet from this car.

I had that issue with my 2010 Jaguar XK and a custom wheel repair guy told me there are a couple things that could cause this. Having the wheels torqued to tight during a wheel balance. Most places you go for wheel balance torque with the air gun. They shuld use a torque wrench. He also said cold water from a car wash hitting hot rotors could also do it. Hope this helps.

This car is notoriously bad for this issue. Search these forums and you'll find a 6 page thread (started by me) with people suffering warped rotars on the E550. the car has a defect, yet MB USA refuses to admit it. I had a brand new 2012 E550 Coupe that needed new pads and rotors on all 4 corners 5 times in 2 years - at a cost of $1700 every time. Owning a Mercedes was the worst car experience I have ever had.
I bought a 2014 650i Gran Coupe, not a single issue and $0 for any services/maint for 4 years. Suck it MB.
Someone also filed a class action against mercedes relating to this.

I owned for 2 years and i'm going on my 3rd set.
In the end, I went with Stoptech rotors and EBC pads.
Cheaper than OEM... but i'm afraid the problem will come back. I changed pads this past Summer, but I can already tell some pulsation when braking hard. Not very smooth compared to other cars i have owned.
I truly believe its only one side of the rotors with the issue. In my case, the drivers side rotor wears unevenly compared to the front passenger side. Could be caliper is pulsating unevenly or the ABS is not calibrated correctly. Just throwing out possible ideas.
Basically, at this point my is at 41k miles i'm probably going to find a used set of Brembo calipers from C63, and switch my fronts.
I have ELW for another 3 years or another 60k miles. This coupe is not going anywhere for a while, I'll try to make the best of the situation.
