2012 E350 Cab - Opinions?

2012 E350 Cab - Opinions?
The old saying ask someone who has one seems to be a great idea so
here goes.
I am currently driving a 2011 E350 4Matic Wagon and a 2001 SLK320 but a change in housing is going to make garaging both cars a challenge.
I am giving serious consideration to swapping both for a very low mileage 2012 E350 Cabriolet.
I am hesitant to lose the 4Matic having driven with it for 5 yr and find it fantastic in the heavy standing water we get on our roads as well as on those few and far between days we get a bit of snow. I know on one occasion 2 yr ago had I not had 4Matic the guy coming down the hill out of control likely would have nailed me head on.
I am also loath to lose the fun of the roadster. It is a hoot to drive and the top down motoring is just a great way to see the world.
As I recall the E class coupe and cab are built on C class platforms presumably with some alterations particularly with the cab at least to stiffen it.
I would really appreciate some feedback on the experiences of others with the Cab in terms of handling, performance and issues you might have encountered with the car.
