Weird Sound under the hood

My car was sitting in the garage for a couple of hours already. I just heard some "self whining" sound under the hood behind the passenger side headlight. The sound last for a few minutes, then it turned off itself, then it came back again.

I checked the car and there was no message displayed.

What is this sound? My car is a 2014 e350 4 matic.

2014 E550 Coupe

I have a 2014 E550 and it does all kinds stuff after it's shut off. I have had something running and I found out it was a fan that dries out the evaporator in the AC to prevent against musty odor.
