2012 E350 Coupe Personal Advice
Hello all,
I swear this will be my last post but could really use some advice.
I found a 2012 E350 coupe, silver/black, one owner, 40k miles, P1/P2 with AMG sports package + wheels.
Clean title, 25.5k+tax.
Few questions, the price is almost 5K under KBB (which I know doesn't mean much). Is this because the newest models will be coming out and we should see a price decrease in the older generations (Not sure how much these would be expected to fall).
I am financing the car completely, approved at 2.5% APR for 26K. I am planning on going to medical school the next two years, my current job pays well for someone living at home (not trying to sound spoiled, but paying 2K for an apartment in the bay area got ridiculous). Calculating cost of everything, roughly 400/month payment + 85 for insurance, after 401K deposit/expenses/savings deposit, I still have roughly 1200 a month left to spare.
I know this is long and stupid, but hopefully someone can reassure me that I'm not making a stupid purchase and also, if someone can predict the likelihood of selling the car let's say in 2 years at 60k miles max.
Thanks.

Sounds like a great deal to me but would recommend having a mechanic give it a once over to ensure no problem areas (i.e. involved in a collision). It will still likely be under warranty (I believe factory warranty is 50K miles / 4 Years for that Model Year) but should check when warranty was initiated (likely getting close or out of warranty if vehicle was initially purchased in 2011).
Good luck!
