Used e550 - electrical issue?
Looking at a 2014 e550 and saw this in the carfax report:
"Computer reprogrammed. Body electrical system checked. Electrical system checked Engine/powertrain computer/module reprogrammed"
That was only mention of the issue, which happened early on in the ownership, but the person only had the car for about a year.
Was there an electrical issue with these cars or is this just a one-off.
thanks

Sounds like MB re-flashed the ECU for some reason. At least that is the way I read the message, but I could be wrong. Not sure this would mean there was an electrical issue per se with the car unless you have some additional info. The car could have had an ECU tune and the dealership just re-flashed the ECU back to factory spec. Obviously you should ask the seller, now that you're armed with a Carfax report, some additional questions to try and determine what, if anything, was related to the reprogramming.
As for the car being owned by a person for just a year, this site has plenty of people who swap out their cars every year or two. That doesn't mean there is something is necessarily wrong or defective with their vehicles. A lot of people just like the latest and greatest or they upgrade the model they're driving. So that means they just trade in one car for another on a regular basis. Again, you would need to look at the vehicle's maintenance history to see what was done to it over the year that the original person owned it.
