I am not the original owner. We bought the car from Carmax. The extended warranty is transferable. www.carmax.com/enus/maxcare/default.html (for full details). The cost is $30.00 to transfer. If you take the car to carmax there is NO deductible. If you take the car to Mercedes there is a $50.00 deductible fee. If you take it to Carmax and they can't fix it they take it to Mercedes and there is no deductible fee.
