2012 E 350 Coupe - Bolts for Donut Spare Tire Help Needed.

My 2012 E350 Coupe is equipped with regular non run flat tires. The car is also equipped with a donut type spare tire, with the spare tire were 5 Bolts (shorter type) that were specifically to be used with the spare rim.

In 2013 I had a flat tire and AAA put on the spare before I took it in to my dealer and had the tire replaced. Unfortunately, the spare Bolts were not returned and I failed to verify that the dealer put them back with the spare tire.

I recently went to look for them and found that they were missing.

Called my dealer to purchase replacements, dealer asked for my VIN number and said he could not find part number for those Bolts. They called Mercedes and still could not find me the replacements.

I know that the E350 Coupe of 2012 and earlier came equipped with these Bolts and the donut type spare tire.

I wonder if you guys can help me by looking up those Bolts (they come in a plastic bag attached to the spare tire itself) and perhaps provide part number on the bolts? If there is no number on them, please either take picture or measure the bolts in length and diameter so I can provide them to the dealer to help me secure those Bolts.

Thanks,
mp

There are a few different lengths on these. When I looked at mine, my bag has a part number, but it's for the bag - bolts not included! I believe this is the part number for the small, temporary use, space saver spare, lug bolt, individual: 2014010270

Double check with a parts place, but it seems like it is used across the model range for various vehicles with a doughnut spare!

Thanks M Austin, are these bolts black steel?
My dealer showed me bolts from other model, they are black, same thread length but shorter in overall length than the ones used on regular titles. I did not have my car with me and did not try them on.

Well, my 2014 actually doesn't need the shorter bolts, but the previous owner of the car had multiple MB's and I suspect the bag is from one of those (most likely a CLK) and just ended up in the car I purchased. My old(er) C class had silver bolts maybe 1-1/2 inches long. Black/silver may not really matter as long as the shoulder and length etc. are correct. When I plug that part number in google I get a lot of silver looking ones, put photos of the actual spare tire bolt kit show black.

Thanks Austin, I googled it and saw what you described. Looks a little different than what my dealer showed me. Will talk to them again next week.

Wish 2012 owners would chime in but so far no luck.
