C63 brakes on E550 coupe

Hi,

I've been searching the forums, and it seems that there is little/no modification required to get the C63 sedan (W204) brakes onto the E550 coupe, but I just wanted to confirm with people that have actually done the change if that is true. I recall mention of some bracket?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I don't believe the C63 brakes are "bolt-on" to the E550 coupe. Keep researching: custom caliper mount bracket is required from what I understand.

I never tried to install the C63 brakes since my 2012 E550 coupe has the larger front rotors (same size as some C 63's) and larger front brake calipers and pads.

The stock front rotors warped; thus, upgraded to high quality (not OEM) drilled rotors front, grooved rear rotors plus high quality low-dust pads front and rear.

Yes, its possible with a bracket for the front caliper. Contact Ivan, he makes and sells the bracket. http://www.dctms.com/Products.html

I have completed the conversion. Purchased the OEM calipers & rotors online, at discount, through www.parts.com

C63 SS brake lines bolt right up. I am also running C63 Porterfield R4-S pads. They squeak a little bit, but once warmed up they bite hard.

I'm guessing they no longer have the calipers available? All I can find are Pads, rotors, and backing plate for the C63:

Do you recall the part numbers?

Thanks again
