2013 E550 Cab with 70k
Just came across a used '13 E550 cabriolet with 70k on it for what I feel is a comfortable price. I have been looking at CLK63 AMG cabriolet's and really like them. My wife likes the "look" of the newer style "E" class cabriolet. Any thoughts as to the higher mileage at 70k? Maintenance schedule, etc.? I am well aware of potential issues with the AMG, but not so sure as far as the newer 4.6 turbo. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

We don't see a ton with high miles, but the ones that do come in are largely problem free. These newer engines are quite solid as long as you maintain them. The cars that are driven are usually less problematic than the ones that sit all the time.

I had the stitching seperate on the front passenger bottom seat and it's hardly used. I have 18k on it. It was replaced on warranty. SA said it was a $1k job. Ridiculous.

The 4.6TT seems solid across the board

Hmm...seems like a lot of miles. My '14 E550 cab has 27k miles. The problem I fear is that these high end, high tech cars begin to "melt" at around 90k miles and start requiring big time maintenance/repair costs.
