Finally time to get rid of my trusty W211 sedan and buy the coupe I've wanted for a while. Found a loaded 2014 in great condition at what seems to be a below market price over the weekend and put a deposit down on it. Done all of the internet VIN sleuthing one with mild OCD would normally partake in, and found really nothing of note. The only thing that concerns me, and I'm really not sure why, is the gap at the beginning of the Carfax report which I've pasted below. Seems the car either sat in the showroom for 7-8 months before being sold or.... I dunno.... someone tell me I'm looking into this too much please.

Seemed to have at least 4 previous owners. That's a lot! The first Carfax reported a "Honda" dealer offered for sales. To me, it's already a used car. Honda dealer does not sell new Benz. The 7 months gap is attributed to the fact the car sat on the lot

I would not buy it for that many owners in a short time!
