2013 E350 Side Chrome Trim

I have recently started to try and make my coupe look a little better and have decided to try and black it out and was wondering if it is possible to remove the chrome side trim on the car

Yes, I did this on my 2012 E550 Coupe. It is held on by adhesive only - used a heat gun and thread to take trim off and then carefully removed any residue. There are several YouTube videos on removing decorative trim from vehicles. I definitely think the E-Coupe looks better without the chrome strip.

~ a heat gun or blow dryer and some thick fishing line will do the trick. you can remove the rear emblems too!
