For the past two weeks ,when attempting to lock the doors with the key,the drivers side door locks,but the passenger side door does not and gives a funny shaking sound near the door lock pin where it goes up and down really fast. Then when i pull off,it gives the same sound again. I'm asking here before the independent repair shop bends me over with some exorbitant price for what is probably a five second job...Thanks to all who respond.

Faulty door lock actuator, you sound like you can't afford the repair therefore leave it alone.
